Missing the Point

Making it marriage is not just about financial benefits. It is about sending a powerful message to those who blindly hate others, for no reason but their differences. It is about ending the cycle of bullying, of violence against people who are different. Calling it something else, is just pandering to those fears, to those who justify their racism & violence. Marriage is a symbol, one that all people are entitled to under civil law, because all laws apply to all people, equally. You can’t pick who any single law applies to, for if you do, then that is discrimination.

Marriage Wins over Civil Partnership
