Tomorrow will be day one without a thing to smoke. As it is, just cutting back so drastically has made me irritable and angry. This is not going to be a fun ride, and I pity everyone around me, because I have a hunch that this irritability will only get worse, before it gets any better.

Sometimes you have give credit when it is due. While I think the drug industry is on the whole, rather mercenary, they do on occassion come through with good advances, that actually do help people who need it. Like Viagra is for those with a dysfunction, that got turned into more of a recreational drug than anything, still for those suffering it did help. However, I just don’t buy they did it for them, but saw the potential for other sales.

If this group wants to seriously put a dent in the Viagra misuse, then how about attacking the one’s who push it? No, not the manufacturer, but the idiot physician who writes out the prescription for no reason than the guy complains he can’t get a decent erection. Attack the real villian and let medicine remain for those who need it.

Yet that isnt quite what this study says. It says there is a greater risk of dying and that is scary but then who commissioned the study and who pays for it? And should that be information we need to know? Unfortunately I think it is more and more becoming necessary for us to know this stuff, simply to verify the study results are not skewed.

It is almost as if because of the advances in science, AIDS and HIV no longer holds any fear among many in our society today. Of course part of that is also due to the lack of real education on this so called ‘Gay Disease’ by many of these alleged Conservative leaders. Yes, that includes people like George Bush, Stephen Harper, Tony Blair and Pope Benedict. It is like while they might disagree with our lifestyle, it isn’t for them to consign us to death because they won’t see the reality of todays world.
