Taking the Plunge

Well I made the decision on Friday, to stop smoking.
The wife is off on some Trade Shows, and our visitor from the USA was leaving on Saturday, so rather than go out and spend a small fortune on cigarettes to last until the wife gets home, I decided to finally stop the hemorrhage of money, and just stop smoking.
So yesterday wasn’t bad, because I still had some cigarettes left. Almost a half a package plus a full one, and three packages of Colt Cigars. Normally I smoke a pack and a half a day, to two packs. So I figured Sunday would be D-Day, so to speak.
Right now I have five Colt cigars left, and one cigarette.
I am grumpier than hell, and feel totally on edge. My nerves are frayed, and the slighest thing off kilter, and I feel like wanting to hit out. It is odd, but then I do have a temper as well. Only now it seems more intense, more near the surface.
This is not fun.
